Description

LED headlights are already widely used in today’s new cars. With the NIGHT BREAKER® LED H4 automotive LED retrofit lamps from OSRAM, you are now able to bring the front lighting of your used vehicle up to the latest state of the art.

Converting to modern LED light has many advantages: The retrofit lamp offers up to 230% brighter and far-reaching light (compared to the minimum requirements of ECE R112) with a color temperature similar to daylight (6000 K) – a completely new quality of light compared to the halogen lamp. It also impresses with its long service life (up to 5x longer than a standard halogen lamp) – its longer service life makes it very environmentally friendly and correspondingly lower maintenance costs.

The NIGHT BREAKER® LED is already available for many vehicle types, and the list of vehicles that can be converted is constantly being expanded. You can obtain your own approval (ABG) in the following steps:

Steps before buying a lamp

1. Check the compatibility list (in the download area or on the official OSRAM website [osram.de/ledcheck]) to see if your vehicle is compatible with the OSRAM H4-NIGHT BREAKER® LED car retrofit lamps
2. Compare the headlight approval number in the compatibility list with the number on your car’s headlights

Steps after purchasing the lamp

1. You can obtain your General Type Approval (ABG) via a QR code on the product packaging (OSRAM Trust Label); alternatively, enter the 7-digit code on the OSRAM Trust Label into the OSRAM Trust app
2. Print out the ABG and always carry it with you on your journey
3. Attach the approval sticker to the engine compartment of your vehicle

The replacement is very simple and usually even possible without tools. After installation, you can easily have the headlights adjusted by a workshop.
